C1 Headlight Range Control Fault

My 2008 Citroen C1 gasoline with 214100km has a headlight range control fault. Error memory has a fault, warning light on, and low beams point way up or down. Suspect a defective servomotor. Anyone seen this?

I also own a C1 and had similar headlight issues. If the headlights are pointing too high or low, it could be the servomotor. Before replacing parts, have you checked the headlight switch and electrical connectors? A bad connection or switch can cause auto-leveling issues. Are both headlights doing it?

I considered the headlight switch but dismissed it. Didn't check the connectors thoroughly. Which connectors should I check? Both headlights are behaving the same way.

Since both headlights are affected, it points to a more general issue. Check the connectors attached to the headlight unit and near the switch for corrosion or loose connections. Since both are misbehaving and you have an error code, it's likely the servomotors. I'd suggest a workshop. Electrical issues can be tricky.

I appreciate the advice. I'll consult a technician. Seems the repair will be around 1040€.
