C1 MOST Bus Fault
Summary of the thread
A 2008 Citroen C1 is experiencing a MOST bus fault, resulting in no audio output and non-functional navigation, with an error stored. The issue is suspected to be related to a control unit on the MOST bus. It is suggested that the problem requires professional diagnostics, as it involves complex fiber optic network components, and a workshop visit is recommended for resolution.

Mine is consistently non-functional, no intermittent operation. How was the issue resolved in your case?

Ah, right, so it's permanently bricked then. Mine was just a loose connection somewhere. Honestly, with a MOST bus issue, especially if it's constant, you're looking at some serious diagnostics. If it's a faulty control unit on the fiber optic network, you're gonna need someone who knows what they're doing. Bit beyond basic tools. I'd advise going to a workshop.

Appreciate the insight. Seems best to get professional help. I'll book a diagnostic assessment with a workshop. Got an estimate for around 1000€, which is a little shocking. Thanks again!

I had something similar with my C1, though not exactly the same. My radio would cut out randomly, and sometimes the sat nav screen would go blank. Is yours doing anything like that, or is it just completely dead?
