Thanks. I can't recall if the issue arose immediately following inclement weather, but the vehicle is frequently exposed to varying conditions. Could you elaborate on the specific sensor that was affected in your Renault Megane, and were any diagnostic steps undertaken prior to its replacement?

Okay, in my Renault it was the collision avoidance sensor, part of the adaptive cruise control system. I didn't do any diagnostics myself; I just took it straight to a workshop. They ran some tests and pinpointed the sensor pretty quickly. Honestly, with all those systems failing, it might be worth getting it professionally checked out. Could save you a lot of time and potential headaches.

I appreciate the details. Based on your experience, I will proceed with a professional diagnostic assessment at a qualified workshop. A local garage confirmed my initial suspicion; they cleaned the radar sensor, and it resolved the issue. The repair cost 45€.

That sounds frustrating. I had a similar issue with my old Renault Megane. Different car, but the symptoms were almost identical. Constant error messages, warning lights, and it turned out to be a faulty sensor related to one of the safety systems. Did you notice if it happened after driving in bad weather?
