C1 rough running and stalling
Summary of the thread
A 2014 Citroen C1 was experiencing rough running, stalling, starting issues, and increased fuel consumption, with the check engine light on. The initial suspicion was a defective fuel pump, but advice suggested checking the fuel pump's wiring and plug connection first. Upon inspection, a faulty connection to the fuel pump was identified and repaired, resolving the issues.

Thanks for the tip! Where exactly is the fuel pump wiring located? Is it easy to get to, or do I need to remove a bunch of stuff?

On mine, it was under the rear seat, near the fuel tank. You can access the plug without too much hassle, but be careful around fuel lines! Honestly, if you're not comfortable poking around there, better to get a workshop to take a look. It could be something else entirely.

Okay, thanks for the advice. I checked the connection, and it looked okay, so I took it to a workshop. Turns out it was indeed a faulty connection to the fuel pump, and they repaired it for 95€. Runs like a charm now!

I had similar symptoms on my C1 a while back. Rough running, stalling... sounds familiar. Did you check the fuel pump's wiring or the plug connection? That was the culprit for me. Worth a look before you start replacing parts.
