C1 starting failure

My 2006 Citroen C1 diesel (125414 km) won't start. I think the battery cable connections might be the problem. Any advice?

Sounds familiar! I had something similar happen with my C1. Check those battery connections meticulously – think of it like a loose tooth, even a tiny wiggle can cause big problems. Is the check engine light on? Any surging before it finally died?

The check engine light is on, but there was no engine surge. What specifics can you share about the issue you encountered with your C1?

Okay, check engine light confirms it! No surging is good. My issue turned out to be a corroded connector, like rust on an old pipe. But, honestly, chasing electrical gremlins can be a nightmare. If cleaning the terminals doesn't fix it, I'd suggest getting it to a workshop.

I addressed the battery cable connections, but the problem persisted. A workshop confirmed a faulty connection and repaired it for 155€. The issue is now resolved.
