C2 Handsfree Microphone Failure

Hi, I have a 2003 Citroen C2, gasoline engine, with 172843 km on it. The hands-free microphone isn't working. Telephony is impossible, and there's an error stored. Anyone seen this?

Yeah, had something similar in my old Renault Megane. Bluetooth would connect, but the microphone was dead. Tried fiddling with the volume control and voice recognition settings, but no luck. Ambient noise cancellation seemed to be the culprit.

Volume control? Ambient noise? Where exactly did you check?

I poked around in the audio system settings, couldn't find anything obvious. The workshop guys told me the infotainment system was shot. I suggest you visit a shop too.

Thanks, I will check that. The repair cost me 815€. Apparently the infotainment system was defective.
