C2 keyless access issue

I had a similar problem with my C2. Keyless entry packed in and it turned out to be a fault in the door wiring. Have you checked the wiring loom where it passes from the car body into the door? That's a common place for wires to break or connections to corrode.

In my case, it was the driver's side door. I tried to fix it myself, but honestly, the wiring is so fiddly. In the end, I took it to a workshop. They confirmed it was a cable or plug connection issue, and sorted it out pretty quickly.
