C2 SensoDrive Transmission Issue
Summary of the thread
The 2007 Citroen C2 SensoDrive transmission is experiencing issues such as unresponsive paddle shifters, slippage, unclean shifting, grinding noises, and emergency mode activation. Diagnostic checks indicate a transmission control error, leading to the suspicion of a defective transmission control unit. A suggestion was made to inspect the wiring harness and connections, but ultimately, the control module was confirmed defective and replaced, resolving the issue.

Thanks for the suggestion. Do you recall what error codes your Opel was throwing? I'm curious if the symptoms align. I checked the cables and they look fine, but I will double-check them.

Honestly, I don't remember the exact code. It was a while ago. But it sounds like you have the same problem as I had then. You should go to a workshop, they will be able to help you.

The diagnosis indicated that the control module was indeed defective and the repairs came to 1000€. At least now the C2 drives well again!

Sounds familiar. I had a similar issue with my old Opel Astra a couple of years ago. Also an automatic gearbox. Have you checked the wiring harness and connections to the control unit? Could be a simple connection issue.
