C30 Automatic Temperature Control Problems
Summary of the thread
A 2012 Volvo C30 is experiencing issues with its automatic temperature control system, failing to regulate temperature and triggering an error code. The suspected cause is a faulty interior temperature sensor. A similar problem was resolved by addressing faulty wiring and plug connections to the sensor, which a local shop repaired for 95€, restoring the system's functionality.

Thanks for the quick reply! Unfortunately, I don't have the exact error code on hand. Could you tell me more about the error code you got? What was the eventual resolution for you?

Man, I can't remember the exact code right now; it was a while ago. Something about the interior temperature sensor giving weird readings or not reporting at all. My guess is that the wiring is the problem. I spent hours fiddling around with it, but eventually, I just gave up and took it to a workshop. I think you should do the same.

Thanks a lot for sharing your experience! Sounds like it's probably beyond my skill level. A local shop found the wiring to the sensor was faulty, and the plug connection had issues. They charged me 95€ to fix the cable and plug. Everything's working perfectly now!

Dude, I know exactly what you're talking about! I had the SAME problem with my C30, although I can't remember what year it is. The climate control just went bonkers. I couldn't figure it out for the life of me. Tell me more - what exactly does the error say? I want to see if it's similar to what I experienced.
