C30 Damping Adjustment Fault

My 2008 Volvo C30 with a gasoline engine is showing a damping adjustment fault. I'm getting an error stored in the error memory and a warning light on the dash, and the ride feels noticeably bumpier than usual. Given the mileage (239428 km), I suspect a cable or plug connection issue. Anyone else experienced this?

Hey! I had a similar problem with my Volvo C30. The ride was absolutely awful! I was all over the road. Does it feel like the car handling is just totally off?

Yeah, car handling feels impaired. When you say similar, was it also related to a damping control error? And what exactly was the cause?

Definitely damping control! I took it to a workshop. The error memory was full of damping errors. Cost me 95€, but they sorted it out. Now it's all good!
