C30 Phone Connection Issue

Experiencing function restrictions with my 2012 Volvo C30 diesel at 153029 km. My smartphone cannot connect, and the error memory stores a related error. I suspect incorrect pairing. Has anyone encountered this?

Hey, I have a C30 too, and I had a similar problem with my phone connection. Super frustrating! Does the system recognize any devices at all, or is it completely dead when you try to connect?

No, the system does not recognise any device at all, but it charges when I connect it via USB. Did you solve it yourself?

Okay, that sounds exactly like what happened to me. I wasn't able to fix it myself, I had to bring it to a workshop. They told me it was a software glitch and they needed to refresh something. I would suggest going there to get it checked.

I appreciate your advice. I took it to a workshop as you suggested. The error was due to an incorrect pairing, as I suspected. They fixed it for 45€.
