Interesting, thanks. Fuel efficiency seems slightly down, but nothing major. Did you experience any rough idling with your Astra at all? I'm trying to narrow it down further before taking it in.

Yeah, the Astra did idle a little rough sometimes, especially when cold. Honestly, with the error code and your symptoms, I'd bet on a glow plug. Best to get it checked out properly.

Thanks for the info! Took it to the workshop, and you were spot on. Ended up being a defective glow plug; repair cost 440€. Appreciate the help!

Hey, I had something similar happen with my old Opel Astra. Engine light stayed on, felt like it was misfiring a bit. Turned out to be a faulty glow plug. Is your fuel efficiency still normal or did you notice a change?
