Headlight and windshield washer systems on my 2008 Volvo C30 diesel aren't working. I've checked hoses and LED connections, but nothing seems off. Could it be a relay or something worse?

I had a similar issue with my C30. Does the pump make any noise when you try to use the washers? Mine was silent, which was a big clue.

There's no sound from the pump at all. What was the solution in your case? Was it a relay, or something else?

No pump noise likely means a bad cable connection or the pump itself is faulty. A relay could also cause it. I'd recommend a workshop visit for a proper diagnosis to avoid causing more issues.

Thanks for the advice! The workshop found a defective cable connection to the pump and quoted 165€ for the repair.
