C4 Door Locking Failure
Summary of the thread
A 2023 Citroen C4 experienced a door locking failure, suspected to be due to a faulty door contact signal. After checking the fuses, which were fine, the issue was identified as a problem with the cable or plug connection to the door sensor inside the door panel. The solution involved taking the car to a workshop where the connection issue was confirmed and resolved.

Interesting. When you say 'cable and plug connection', do you mean inside the door panel itself? Was it visibly damaged, or just loose?

Yeah, inside the door panel. I couldn't see any visible damage to the cable itself, but the plug wasn't seated properly. Gave it a wiggle and still nothing. I took it to a workshop in the end, they confirmed it and everything was done. Saved me a lot of potential headaches.

Thanks for the info. Sounds like it's beyond my basic toolbox skills. Workshop it is. Just picked it up. Cable or plug connection of the component defective, just like you said. Cost me 95€. Cheers!

That's a weird one. I had a similar issue with my C4 a while back. Central locking went haywire. Have you checked the cable and plug connection to the door sensor? That was the culprit for me.
