C4 power window issue

I had a similar problem with my C4 after disconnecting the battery. It seems the window regulators need to be re-initialized. Did you try the window reset procedure? I can't remember exactly but the procedure is to hold the switch in the up position for 10 secs then down for 10 secs.

Yes, that's exactly the problem I encountered. I tried various online suggestions without success. Unfortunately, in my case, it turned out the regulator needed a reset by a professional. I would suggest taking it to a workshop to get it sorted. They have the diagnostic tools to properly initialize the system. You could keep trying, but you might cause more issues.
