C4 Rough Idle IAC Valve

It has 45836 km. Would cleaning the intake manifold and throttle body, and replacing the IAC valve be a good move? Or should I just take it to a shop?

At that mileage and with those symptoms, a cleaning might help temporarily, but replacing the IAC valve is probably necessary. Given the stored error and stalling, it's likely damaged. Considering the effort and potential for further issues, taking it to a trusted mechanic is probably the best bet. They can diagnose it properly and ensure correct installation.

I took it to a shop. They confirmed the faulty IAC valve and intake contamination. It cost 425€ for the valve replacement and cleaning. It idles smoothly now. Thanks for the help.

Sounds like a likely culprit. A heavily contaminated intake can definitely cause the IAC valve to malfunction, leading to unstable idle and stalling. The valve likely can't move freely due to the buildup. How many kilometers on the car?
