C4 Turn Signal Error
Summary of the thread
The 2014 Citroen C4 diesel is experiencing an intermittent turn signal error, with a message appearing on the speedometer and issues with the lighting. The problem is likely due to a defective connection, such as a bad cable or plug, rather than a simple bulb issue. The recommended solution is to have a professional diagnose and fix the issue, which was confirmed to be a corroded connector, resolved at a workshop.

It's intermittent, which is the annoying part. Makes it hard to pin down. And no, I haven't checked the bulb lens itself, I assumed it was deeper than that since it throws an error. Where exactly should I be looking for the cable or plug? Is it something I can easily access?

Intermittent issues are the worst, I know. Given the error message and lighting fault, and the mileage, it's likely a connection issue. Honestly, chasing electrical gremlins can be a real pain. Unless you're comfortable with auto electrics, I'd suggest taking it to a workshop. They'll be able to properly diagnose the issue and fix it. Likely not a simple bulb replacement.

Okay, thanks for the advice. I was hoping it was something simple, but it sounds like it's best left to the pros. Took it to the shop, and you were spot on – a corroded connector. Cost me 95€ to get it sorted. Cheers!

Sounds like a defective connection, probably a cable or plug gone bad. Is the error constant, or does it come and go? Have you checked the bulb itself for any damage, like a broken lens?
