C5 Airbag Warning Light

Hi, I have a 2001 Citroen C5 with a gasoline engine. The airbag warning lamp is constantly on in the speedometer, and the car has 214987 km on it. I suspect it might be a defective cable or plug connection. Has anyone experienced something similar?

I had a similar issue with my C5. Check the connections under the seats first; they're often the culprit. Have you tried wiggling any of the wires?

Thanks for the tip! Which wires exactly should I be looking at under the seats? Are there any specific colours or connectors I should focus on?

Yeah, it's usually the yellow connectors under the seats that connect to the seat airbags. Honestly, though, it's probably best to have a workshop take a look. Could be more complex.

Thanks, I appreciate the advice. I took it to a workshop, and they confirmed it was a faulty connection. Cost me 95€ to fix.
