C5 cruise control fault

My 2021 Citroen C5 with a gasoline engine has developed a cruise control fault. It simply doesn't engage anymore, and there's an error stored. I've checked the dashboard, steering wheel controls, and fuse box, but everything seems normal. I'm suspecting a defective cable or plug connection. Has anyone experienced something similar?

I had exactly the same issue on my C5! Drove me nuts for a while. Did you check the pedal switch? That was the culprit in my case.

Thanks for the quick reply! Where exactly is the pedal switch located, and what should I be looking for? Is it something I can check myself, or is it best left to a professional?

It's located right above the pedals, usually. Honestly, just go to a workshop, it's a fiddly thing to get to. I messed around with it for hours, then just gave up and took it in. Best decision ever. Cost me 95€.

Appreciate the advice. I think I'll book it in with a mechanic. I suspected it could be something like that. Turns out it was a defective connection, just like you said. Thanks again!
