Thanks for the tip. Fuses... hadn't thought of that, to be honest. Which specific fuse should I be looking at? The manual isn't exactly clear on which one controls what.

Considering the complexity of modern vehicle electrical systems, pinpointing the precise fuse responsible for your Citroen C5's ignition circuit can be challenging without access to detailed schematics. However, given the observed symptoms, I strongly recommend consulting a qualified technician equipped with the appropriate diagnostic tools and technical documentation. While a fuse replacement might rectify the issue, a more thorough inspection may be warranted to preclude underlying problems, such as wiring harness chafing or a failing ignition switch. Please consider a workshop visit to resolve the problem.

Turns out you were right. It was just a fuse. Cost me 52€ at the shop. Thanks!

Greetings. The symptoms you are experiencing with your 2020 Citroen C5 diesel are indeed indicative of a potential ignition system malfunction. Before delving into more complex components, have you verified the integrity of the fuses associated with the ignition system? A defective fuse can manifest in intermittent starting issues, engine stalling, and rough running conditions. Refer to your vehicle's fuse box diagram to locate the relevant fuses and inspect them meticulously for any signs of damage or discontinuity. This simple check can often resolve the problem without necessitating more extensive repairs.
