C5 parking aid malfunction

Hey! I had something similar happen on my C5. Turned out to be a dodgy connection. Have you checked the wiring and plugs to the parking sensors? Sometimes they get corroded or loose, especially with the weather changes. It's like a loose wire on a Christmas tree light – one goes out, and the whole string stops working.

Thanks for the tip! Which connectors specifically did you have trouble with? Were they easy to access, or did you have to take half the car apart?

For me, it was the ones near the rear bumper, behind the wheel arch liner. Not too difficult to get to, but fiddly. Honestly, after wiggling a few, it started working again, but it kept happening. Eventually, I just took it to a workshop. They found a damaged wire and charged me 95€. Saved me a lot of frustration!
