C5 Seat Heater Failure

Just the driver's side, thankfully! Connections seem solid, though I'll double-check. If it IS the mat, is it a massive job to replace? Like, engine-out level of crazy, or more 'annoying Sunday afternoon' level?

Nah, not engine-out crazy, thankfully! But still annoying. I ended up just biting the bullet and taking it to a workshop. They confirmed it was the mat and swapped it out. Cost me about 390€. Worth it for a warm bum in winter!

Ugh, 390€... that stings, but a frozen posterior stings more! Sounds like I'm heading down the same path. Thanks for confirming my suspicions - at least I know what I'm in for. Much appreciated!

I had something similar in my C5. Check the connections under the seat, but chances are it's the heating mat itself. Is it only happening on one seat, or both?
