Thank you for your suggestions. I don't detect any sweet smell, and the blower motor seems functional. Could you elaborate on how a coolant leak or the heater core would specifically prevent the parking heater from activating and trigger an error memory?

Okay, no sweet smell is good! But honestly, dude, if you're getting error codes and the parking heater is totally dead, it's probably more than just a simple coolant issue. The heater core could be blocked, making the system freak out and throw errors. Really though, with all that, I'd say bite the bullet and take it to a workshop. They can run a proper diagnostic. Save yourself the headache!

I appreciate the advice. Indeed, after a diagnostic at the workshop, the issue was confirmed to be a defective glow plug in the auxiliary heater, repair cost 440€ Thank you for your input.

Hey there! Auxiliary heater probs are the WORST, aren't they? I had something similar happen in my old beater. Does it smell kinda sweet inside the car? Might be a coolant leak messing with your heat control. Or maybe the blower motor is shot? Have you checked the heater core?
