C6 mirror heating defective

I had the same problem on my C6. Did you check the fuse? Maybe it's just a blown fuse. It is an easy and cheap fix. Did you check the voltage on the mirror connector?

Thanks for the quick reply! No, I haven't checked the voltage at the connector yet. I was hoping it was just a fuse. Where exactly is the fuse located? Is it easily accessible? What else could it be if it's not the fuse?

The fuse box is in the glove compartment. Regarding testing the connector, that's beyond my capabilities. It definitely sounds like a cable or plug connection problem. My mirror heating didn't work, I had error codes, and the workshop confirmed it. They replaced the connector, and now it's works again. It might be best to have a professional take a look.

Thank you for the advice! I suspected it was more than just a fuse. The workshop diagnosed a faulty connector, just like you guessed. Repair cost me 95€, and now the mirror heating is working perfectly again. A small price to pay for vehicle safety!
