C6 Power Window Failure

Thanks for the tip! Central locking is working perfectly fine, no issues there. So you reckon it's more likely to be the window mechanism than the actual switch? Where exactly should I be looking in the door panel?

Well, the central locking using separate wiring is a good sign. A defective power window switch is plausible, but in my case it was just a corroded connector on the window mechanism. Seriously, it's a faff to get to, and you might be best off taking it to a workshop. Could save you a bunch of time and hassle.

You were spot on! Took it to my local garage, and they confirmed it was a dodgy connector on the window mechanism. Cost me 200€ for the repair, but at least it's sorted. Cheers for the help!

I had something similar with my C6. I'd check out the window mechanism first, especially the door panel wiring. I had intermittent issues before they failed completely. Does the central locking still work okay?
