C6 Seat Massage Failure

My 2005 Citroen C6, gasoline engine, has a fault. The driver's seat massage function has stopped working. No amount of button pressing brings it to life, and there's an error code stored related to the seat in the ECU. I suspect a dodgy connection somewhere under the seat. Has anyone else experienced anything similar with their C6 seats?

I had a similar issue with the lumbar support on my old Volvo V70. It turned out to be a loose connector under the seat. Have you checked all the wiring and plugs?

Thanks for the tip! Was the Volvo's issue a complete failure, or was it intermittent? I've wiggled a few of the connectors I can easily reach, but no luck so far. Did you have to remove the seat completely to get to the wiring?

Mine was intermittent at first, then just stopped working completely. I didn't remove the seat, but it was a pain to get to. If wiggling didn't work, it might be worth a trip to a workshop to check for broken wires within the seat upholstery.

I appreciate the advice. I'll have a more thorough look at the wiring, but I suspect you're right about needing a professional. I've booked it in; they reckon around 95€ to sort the cable or plug connection. Cheers!
