C6 Transmission Issues
Summary of the thread
A 2023 Citroen C6 owner experienced persistent transmission issues, including warning lights, emergency mode activation, and grinding noises. The problem was traced to fault codes related to the transmission oil pressure sensor. A similar case suggested checking the transmission oil level, which was found to be low. After addressing a leak, topping up the oil, and replacing the sensor, the vehicle's performance improved significantly.

Yes, exactly! It feels like it's really labouring going uphill. What was your solution? Was it the sensor itself or something else?

That's what mine was doing. Eventually I took it to a workshop, and they told me I just had low transmission oil. Might be worth checking that first?

You won't believe it! You were spot on! Took it to a workshop as per your recommendation and it turned out that the gearbox oil level was too low. They fixed the leak and topped it up, replaced the sensor and it's driving like a dream again. The repair cost was 365€. Thanks a million for pointing me in the right direction!

I had something similar happen with my C6. Does it feel like it's struggling, especially on hills?
