Yeah, the code is specifically for the heat exchanger temperature sensor. I haven't checked the refrigerant pressure, I don't have the gear. But given the error code and the other symptoms, does that sound like the same issue you had, with the control unit?

Yep, pretty much identical to what I experienced. Turned out to be the AC control unit throwing a hissy fit and needing replacement. Get it to a workshop to get it checked out!

Sounds familiar! I had a similar AC issue with my C70. Was the error pointing specifically to the heat exchanger temperature sensor, or were there other HVAC-related codes too? It could also be a refrigerant issue. Have you checked the pressure?
