C70 Bluetooth Connection Issue
Summary of the thread
A 2010 Volvo C70 owner experienced issues with their smartphone failing to connect via Bluetooth, despite attempts to delete and re-pair the device. The problem persisted across multiple phones, suggesting a potential issue with the Bluetooth module or a software glitch. A suggested solution was to take the car to a workshop, where a software reset resolved the issue, restoring the Bluetooth functionality.

Thanks for the reply! It does recognize the phone sometimes, but then it drops the connection almost immediately. I've tried other phones too, and it's the same problem. Is there any way to check the Bluetooth module myself?

Sounds like an incorrect pairing issue, which is causing the connection problems. I would get it to a local workshop. They will be able to diagnose and correct the issue.

Okay, thanks for the advice. Took it to the shop and they sorted it out with a software reset. Cost me 45€, but at least it's working now!

Could be an issue with the Bluetooth module or a software glitch. Does the C70's system recognize your phone at all, or is it completely failing to connect? Have you tried any other phones to see if they connect?
