C70 central locking malfunction

Hi, I'm having a weird issue with the central locking on my 2008 C70 diesel. It's stopped working completely, neither the remote nor the internal switch does anything. The diagnostic scan shows an error code for the central locking. I'm thinking it might be a cable or plug issue. Any ideas?

I had a similar issue with my C70. Have you checked the fuses? Also, does the security system seem to be behaving erratically otherwise, like the car alarm going off randomly?

Yeah, it was the central locking module. Workshop confirmed it was faulty and needed replacing. Might be worth checking that before you start messing with cables.

Thanks for the tip! I took it to a workshop, and you were right, it was the central locking module. Replaced it, and now it's working perfectly. Cost me 95€.
