C70 central locking malfunction
Summary of the thread
The central locking system on a 2008 C70 diesel stopped working entirely, with neither the remote nor the internal switch functioning. A diagnostic scan revealed an error code related to the central locking. Initially suspected to be a cable or plug issue, the problem was identified as a faulty central locking module, which was replaced to resolve the issue.

Thanks! Yes, fuses are fine. The security system seems normal, no random alarms. What exactly happened with your C70? Any details on how you fixed it would be great.

Yeah, it was the central locking module. Workshop confirmed it was faulty and needed replacing. Might be worth checking that before you start messing with cables.

Thanks for the tip! I took it to a workshop, and you were right, it was the central locking module. Replaced it, and now it's working perfectly. Cost me 95€.

I had a similar issue with my C70. Have you checked the fuses? Also, does the security system seem to be behaving erratically otherwise, like the car alarm going off randomly?
