C70 Incomplete System Readiness
Summary of the thread
A 2013 Volvo C70 diesel displayed an incomplete system readiness check with an error message on the speedometer. This issue can occur if the OBD readiness monitors have not completed their drive cycles, often after clearing codes with an OBD2 scanner. The solution involves driving the car under specific conditions to allow the monitors to run and pass their self-tests. Eventually, the error resolved itself without any repair costs.

Is it possible to reset the computer to its default state, and would that resolve this issue?

While a reset might seem like a quick fix, it will not resolve incomplete readiness checks. The monitors need to run and pass their self-tests, meaning the car has to be driven under specific conditions. It is advised you take your car to a trusted workshop.

Thank you for the information. Eventually the error went away on its own. Repair cost was 0€.

The OBD readiness monitors may not have completed their drive cycles. This can occur after clearing codes with an OBD2 scanner. The car's computer runs tests to ensure all systems are functioning correctly. Which monitors are showing as incomplete?
