C70 Power Windows Failure
Summary of the thread
A 2010 Volvo C70 experienced a sudden failure of the power windows, with no response from the buttons and an error stored in the system memory. The issue was identified as a faulty power window switch. The recommended solution was to have the switch replaced by a professional to avoid potential damage to the door panel or other components. The problem was resolved at a workshop, confirming the switch as the cause.

Interesting. How did you figure out it was the switch? And is it easy to replace yourself, or should I just take it to a shop?

Well, the windows didn't move anymore and the error code pointed me in that direction. I'd say just go to a workshop. I regret not having done it right away. It's probably the best way to avoid damaging the door panel looking for the regulator motor or window track and avoid having to replace the window motor as well.

Okay, thanks for the advice. I took it to a workshop, and they confirmed it was indeed the power window switch. Cost me 200€ to get it fixed. Appreciate the help!

Hey, I had a similar problem with my C70. Have you checked the power window switch itself? That was the culprit in my case. Could be a faulty window control.
