Temperature fluctuation, you say? That's interesting, I didn't specifically monitor that. I only eyeballed the airflow sensor. Can you tell me more about the temperature readings you were seeing and what you did to fix it?

Yeah, the temperature readings were erratic, jumping up and down like crazy. Looking back, the defective cable/plug connection sounds right. Honestly, I didn't mess with it myself; I just took it to a workshop. I suggest you do the same. Better safe than sorry!

Thanks a lot for the advice. I decided to take it to a local mechanic, and you were right, it was a defective cable or plug connection! The total repair cost was 95€. The car runs without any issues now. Really appreciate the help!

Hey, I had a similar issue with my C70 a while back. Reduced power and that hissing sound are definitely familiar. Did you notice any temperature fluctuation? Mine was all over the place before the light came on. Was the airflow sensor also checked?
