C8 Air Suspension Problem

My 2006 Citroen C8, gasoline engine, is giving me grief. Only 41992 km on it! The air suspension seems totally borked. It won't lift anymore, the whole thing is leaning to one side, and the dashboard is lit up with error messages about load leveling. Also, the headlights are pointing way too low or way too high. Anyone else had this happen?

Whoa, sounds familiar! I've got a C8 too, and I had similar symptoms last year. Vehicle can no longer lift, leaning, errors, the whole shebang. Did you check for air leaks around the struts? I remember hearing hissing before mine went completely belly-up. Could also be a malfunction with the compressor itself. Have you checked the error memory?

Air leaks, huh? I haven't stuck my head under there yet. Figured it was something more complicated. Where exactly should I be looking for these leaks? And what kind of error codes did you get? I'm seeing something vague about the air suspension system.

Yeah, definitely get under there and have a listen. I remember the leak being pretty obvious near one of the air struts. As for the error codes, honestly, I can't remember the exact numbers. It was a while ago, and I'm not exactly a mechanic. I ended up taking it to a shop, and they sorted it out. Maybe it's time to visit a professional?

Roger that. I was hoping to avoid the shop, but it sounds like I might be in over my head. Thanks for the tip about the air leaks, though. I'll give it a once-over. It was just a dodgy connector! Cable or plug connection of the component defective! 95€ later and it's all fixed!
