C8 auxiliary heater problem

Hi, I'm having trouble with the auxiliary heater in my 2011 Citroen C8 with a gasoline engine. The parking heater simply refuses to activate, and the diagnostic tool is showing an error stored in the error memory related to it. I've checked the fuses and the battery voltage, but everything seems normal there. Any ideas what could be the cause?

Hey! I had a similar issue with my C8 a while back. Does it happen intermittently, or is it completely dead? When mine acted up, I suspected the temperature sensor at first. Have you checked that?

Thanks for the quick reply! It's completely dead, not intermittent at all. Where exactly is that temperature sensor located? And do you remember what error code you were getting?

Okay, completely dead is a different beast. My issue was more sporadic. I was getting a weird heat control error. To be honest, I fiddled with it for a bit and then took it to a workshop. Turned out to be a defective glow plug. Cost me around 440€ to get it sorted. I suggest you go straight to the workshop.
