C8 Brake Light Failure

Hi, I have a 2009 Citroen C8 diesel with 90450 km on the clock. Recently, I've been getting a brake light failure error on the infotainment system, and the brake lights aren't working. The error memory has also stored something. Could this be a bad brake light switch?
