Camaro exhaust sensor issue
Summary of the thread
A 2011 Chevrolet Camaro owner experienced a check engine light and higher fuel consumption, with a diagnostic scan indicating an exhaust sensor error. Despite the sensor and its connections appearing intact, the issue persisted. A similar case suggested the problem might be a faulty sensor or its connection. Ultimately, a mechanic confirmed the issue was with the cable/plug connection to the exhaust sensor, resolving the problem.

The error is constantly showing after I reset it. How did you resolve your issue? Was it definitely the sensor, or was there something else involved?

Yep, in my case, it was the exhaust sensor. Given that the error is constant, and you are noticing increased fuel consumption, I would suggest having a workshop take a look at it. Better safe than sorry!

Thanks for the advice! I took it to a mechanic, and you were right – it was the cable/plug connection to the exhaust sensor. Cost me 95€ to get it sorted.

Hey, I had a similar problem with my Camaro. It could very well be a faulty exhaust sensor. Is the error intermittent, or is it constantly showing?
