Camaro heat exchanger sensor issue
Summary of the thread
A 2016 Chevrolet Camaro is experiencing issues with a temperature sensor on the heat exchanger, causing error messages and disabling the air conditioning. The problem may stem from a malfunctioning air conditioning control unit. A similar case was resolved by checking the sensor and potentially replacing the AC control unit, which required professional workshop assistance.

Thanks for the quick reply! When you say 'sensor itself', do you mean the one directly attached to the heat exchanger? And what was the eventual fix for yours?

Yep, the one on the heat exchanger. I ended up taking it to a workshop. Suspect a defective AC control unit. The bill was almost 1000€.

Ouch, that's rough. Seems like I'm heading down the same road. Thanks for sharing your experience; I'll book an appointment at a workshop ASAP.

I had similar problems with my Camaro. Error codes, AC acting up, the whole nine yards. Check the sensor itself. It's a common issue.
