Camaro rear window heating malfunction
Summary of the thread
A 2017 Chevrolet Camaro experienced a rear window heating malfunction, with diagnostic scans showing a stored error. The windshield heating was also underperforming. The issue was traced to a weak battery, which can cause isolated electrical problems by prioritizing power to essential systems. Replacing the battery resolved the heating issues.

Thanks, I haven't checked the battery voltage under load specifically, but I will. Could a weak battery really only affect the rear window and windshield heating when other electrical systems seem fine?

A weak battery can cause seemingly isolated issues because the car's electrical system prioritizes power. The heating elements draw a lot of current. If the battery is weak, the car might cut power to those systems first. If the battery is good, you might need a workshop to diagnose it properly.

Thanks for your help. The battery was the problem. Replacing it fixed the rear window heating. Repair cost was 290€.

Could be the battery. Have you checked its voltage and overall health? A weak or bad battery can cause electrical issues like that. Does the car struggle to start, especially when it's cold?
