Camaro sporadic errors in driving mode
Summary of the thread
A 2020 Chevrolet Camaro is experiencing sporadic errors in driving mode, with intermittent error lamps and unresponsive control units. The issue may be related to faulty cable connections to the control units, particularly affecting the BUS system. A similar problem was resolved in another vehicle by inspecting and repairing the wiring harness and connectors, leading to a successful fix at a workshop.

So, you're suggesting a physical inspection of the wiring harness and connectors leading to the control units? Were there any specific control units that were more susceptible, or was it more of a general issue across the BUS system?

In my Volvo, it was difficult to pinpoint the one control unit affected, and because of this I ended up visiting the workshop. In my case, it turned out that the mechanic was able to solve it very fast. I would highly recommend that you visit one too.

I took your advice and booked a visit to the workshop. It turned out that it was indeed a defective cable connection of the control unit (connection to the BUS system). The mechanic was able to fix the problem for just 155€!

Sounds familiar! I had similar random electronic glitches and system failures on my 2016 Volvo XC90. For me, it ended up being a dodgy cable connection to one of the control units – specifically, a faulty connection to the BUS system. Have you checked the cable connections to your Camaro's control units?
