Camry audio system failure

I'm having a strange issue with the audio system in my 2019 Toyota Camry with a gasoline engine. The entire system is dead – no sound whatsoever. The dashboard controls are unresponsive, Bluetooth connectivity is non-existent, and even the volume control is useless. The car's computer stores an error related to the head unit. I've checked all the fuses, and they seem to be fine. Is anyone familiar with this?

I've got a Camry, and I had a similar problem a while back. Radio just went silent. Did you try disconnecting the battery for a few minutes?

I haven't tried disconnecting the battery yet. I will give it a try. If that doesn't work, do you remember any other details about your issue? Did the error message specify which component was at fault?

Battery disconnect didn't fix mine, unfortunately. From what you're describing, it does sound like the display is defective. In my case I had to go to a workshop

Thanks for confirming that my assessment is correct. I appreciate your help. I'll take it to the workshop. The repair cost will be 725€
