Camry Audio System Failure

Hi, I'm having a weird issue with my 2017 Toyota Camry Hybrid. The audio system is completely dead – no sound whatsoever. The navigation system is also not working. I scanned for error codes, and there's a stored error related to the MOST bus. From what I've gathered, it could be a problem with one of the control units on the fiber optics network. Has anyone experienced something similar?

Hey! I had a similar problem with my Camry, although it wasn't a hybrid. The MOST bus thing sounds familiar. Was there any kind of impact recently, like hitting a pothole or anything? Did you check any fuses?

Thanks for the quick reply! No recent impacts that I can recall. I checked the fuses that I could easily locate, but honestly, I'm not sure which ones are specifically related to the audio or MOST bus system. Do you happen to remember if there were any specific control units involved in your case?

Honestly, I didn't dig too deep myself. It seemed a bit over my head, especially with the fiber optics stuff. I ended up taking it to a workshop, and they sorted it out. Seems like a defect of some sort. Cost me around 1000€ to repair. I suggest you do the same.

Thanks a lot for the info! 1000€ is quite a bit but at least I have an idea of what to expect. I'll take it to a trusted mechanic and mention the MOST bus issue. Hopefully, they can pinpoint the faulty control unit without too much hassle. Appreciate the help!
