Camry electronic parking brake failure

Having trouble with the electronic parking brake on my 2020 Toyota Camry, gasoline engine. It's completely dead, warning light's on, and the error memory points to the parking brake system. Sounds like the electric motor in the calliper. Anyone seen this before? Repair's about 505€.

Sounds familiar. I had a similar problem with my old Opel. Electronic parking brakes, eh? What error codes are you seeing?

Don't have the codes right now, but I can get them. Was it the motor in the calliper with your Opel, and did you have the same symptoms?

Yep, exact same symptoms. Turned out to be a faulty motor in the calliper. Pain. I just took it to a workshop to get it sorted. Saved me hassle. Probably best to do the same.

Good to know someone else has seen this. I'll take it to a mechanic for repair.
