Camry hybrid auxiliary battery alarm

Hi, I have a 2023 Toyota Camry Hybrid. Recently an alarm popped up related to the additional battery alarm system. The error memory has stored the event and the alarm system isn't working. Could a discharged battery due to age be the problem?

I have a Camry as well. A similar issue happened to me, and it turned out to be the auxiliary battery. Has the car been sitting idle for an extended period, or have you noticed any other electrical issues?

In my case, the auxiliary battery was indeed depleted, triggering the alarm malfunction. Given that you're using the car regularly, I would still recommend having the battery checked at a workshop. A defective cell or wiring could also be the root cause, but it sounds like the battery signal is incorrect. For me, the repair cost was around 330€.

Okay, thank you for the help. I'll take it to the workshop to get it checked out. Hopefully, it is just the auxiliary battery.
