Camry solar sensor code and weak heat
Summary of the thread
A 2013 Toyota Camry Hybrid was experiencing a solar sensor error code and weak heating. The issue was suspected to be a bad connection, possibly a loose plug. A similar case suggested checking the sensor's cable for corrosion. Upon inspection, corrosion was found in the plug, and cleaning it resolved the problem, clearing the error code and improving the heating.

Cable, huh? So, did you just wiggle it a bit or did you actually replace something? Just trying to gauge how deep I need to dive into this thing.

In my case, wiggling it did nothing. Further inspection revealed slight corrosion inside the plug. Cleaning it with contact spray solved the problem. However, since your heating output is too low, I would suggest you to let a workshop check it.

Right, so the shop confirmed it was the solar sensor connection – corroded just like you guessed. They cleaned it up and cleared the code. Cost me 95€. Thanks for the heads up!

I have a Camry too, though I don't remember the exact year. I had similar symptoms. Did you check the sensor's cable? In my case, this solved the issue.
