Camry turn signal lamp defective

I'm experiencing an odd issue with my 2017 Toyota Camry's gasoline engine. The turn signal lamp is defective. I'm getting an error stored in the error memory, an error message popping up on the speedometer, and a clear fault in the lighting itself. Based on initial diagnostics, it seems like a defective cable or plug connection is the likely culprit. Has anyone encountered this before? I want to avoid unnecessary part replacements.

No specific codes that I remember, but the turn signal was definitely erratic. Given the errors you are seeing, and the fact that it is a safety issue, I think you should go directly to a workshop. Thanks for the advice and sharing your experience! It turned out to be a corroded connector in the turn signal assembly. A quick cleaning and re-connection did the trick, however, the mechanic suggested replacing the connector, so I went ahead and had it done. Total repair cost was 95€ including labor and the new connector. Appreciate the input!
