Camshaft Sensor Error
Summary of the thread
A 2011 Citroen Nemo diesel was experiencing poor engine start, reduced power, and a camshaft sensor error. The initial suspicion was a defective cable or plug connection. Another participant suggested checking the crankshaft sensor, as it might be related. Ultimately, the issue was resolved by replacing the camshaft sensor, leading to the car running smoothly again.

Thanks. I haven't checked the crankshaft sensor yet. Could a faulty crankshaft sensor cause the camshaft sensor to trigger an error? Is it difficult to check?

Well, I'm no expert, but in my case, both sensors seemed to be involved. If you don't know how to check it, I'd recommend a workshop. Mechanics identified the error quickly for me.

Thanks! I rechecked the error memory and it was the camshaft sensor itself. After replacing it, which cost 95€, the car runs smoothly again.

Hey, I had something similar with my Citroen Nemo – older model though. I experienced stalling and misfires. Did you check the crankshaft sensor? Maybe the sensors are related.
