Captiva Blower Motor Failure
Summary of the thread
The 2015 Chevrolet Captiva diesel's fresh air blower is not functioning, and a scan revealed a blower motor error, suggesting the motor might be dead. This issue results in no air circulation and a non-working air conditioning system. A similar problem was resolved by replacing the blower motor, which was confirmed to be the solution.
Did this summary help you solve your problem?

Exactly. Blower's dead at all speeds, so no air flow, and the AC is out too. Was the blower motor your problem, and how did you fix it?

Yep, sounds like the exact same problem! I tried fiddling with it, but I didn't want to mess anything up. I ended up taking it to a workshop. They sorted it pretty quickly, though.

Thanks for confirming. I appreciate the input. I'll proceed with replacing the blower motor. Shop quoted 365€ for parts and labor. Seems reasonable.

I have a Captiva too, and something similar happened to me a while back. No air circulation at all, right? So annoying. Is the air conditioning also not working?
