Could you tell me where the Body Control Module (BCM) is in the Captur, and if you remember any specific pins or connectors that were problematic? Did you have any immobilizer issues while fixing your alarm?

The BCM is usually behind the glove box. I honestly can't remember which specific pins caused the issue, it was a while ago. I think it's best you take your car to a workshop. They can properly diagnose it and check all the connections.

I appreciate the input. Given the potential complexity, I'll consult a workshop for diagnosis and repair. Your advice confirms the likely fault direction. Thanks!

Hey! I had a similar issue with my Captur, though it's not the same year. The alarm would randomly go off or not arm. Sounds like you've checked the basics. Did you check the connection to the Body Control Module (BCM)? A loose connection there can cause signal problems.
