Captur Central Locking Failure
Summary of the thread
A 2023 Renault Captur hybrid experienced a complete central locking failure at 215,069 km, with an error message indicating a defective cable or plug connection. Initial checks of the fuse box and key fob did not resolve the issue. A suggestion to inspect the car alarm system was made, but ultimately, a workshop visit revealed a faulty connector in the door. Replacing the connector resolved the problem.

Thanks! The remote locking is dead too. Where should I be looking regarding the car alarm system? Any specific components to check?

Given that remote locking isn't working either, and you've already checked the basics, it's very likely an internal fault. I'd recommend taking it to a workshop, as messing with the locking mechanism yourself can cause further issues.

Thanks! I took it to the workshop as you suggested, and it turns out a connector in the door was faulty, just as the error message indicated. A new connector and labor set me back 95€, but at least it's resolved.

I had a similar issue with my Captur. Have you checked the car alarm system? It could be related. Also, can you still use remote locking?
